We specialize in accurate depictions of Australian flora and fauna – native birds are our particular passion. Ours is a genuine handmade Australian product.

We live and work on a rural property near the famous Hunter valley vineyards, two hours drive north of Sydney.

NEW DESIGN - Regent Honeyeater
May 2010

I have just added a new design to our range -- the critically endangered Regent Honeyeater. This very handsome medium sized honeyeater has mottled black and white underparts, scalloped black and yellow upperparts with wings and tail edged and tipped yellow. It has an unusual bare patch of yellow to pink skin around the eyes.

The Regent Honeyeater is a critically endangered species and has been sighted only twice here in the 15 years we have been at Wallaby Gully. They feed in eucalypt open forest and woodlands in inland Victoria and NSW and their range is still diminishing. In 1997 their global population was estimated at a total of 1500 birds.

This Adult's T-shirt design is available now on either Ocean Blue or Beige. The design looks so nice on both background colours I decided to include them both in the range.
